What if your morning bread
actually tasted like bread should?

Handcrafted loaves, house-made pastries, and a carefully curated market — all from a small kitchen on Wapato Way, right here in the heart of Manson.

Our Story

Born from a belief that good food starts with patience

Cheval Cellars began with a simple conviction: that the best bread isn't rushed. Every loaf we bake is mixed, folded, and fermented by hand — no shortcuts, no industrial accelerators, just time and attention.

We opened our doors in Manson with two things in mind: a bakery that bakes something worth waking up for, and a market that showcases the best of what this region has to offer. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't make it to the shelf.

What We Do

From our oven to your table

Three pillars, one kitchen. Everything we make is done by hand, in small batches, with ingredients we can name and stand behind.

Artisan Bakery

Sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, and seasonal flatbreads — all started from our own culture, fermented slowly, baked in small batches. Pastries and croissants made fresh each morning.

  • Lean & enriched doughs
  • House-fermented sourdough
  • Daily pastry rotation
  • Seasonal fruit tarts

Curated Market

A thoughtfully assembled collection of pantry staples, preserves, oils, and specialty goods — mostly from Washington producers we know and trust.

  • Local honey & preserves
  • Small-batch olive oils
  • Artisan cheeses
  • House-made pasta & sauces

Special Orders

Wedding cakes, holiday platters, corporate events — we take on custom projects with the same care we give our daily loaves. Reach out and tell us what you need.

  • Custom celebration cakes
  • Event catering & platters
  • Holiday baking requests
  • Private tasting events

Cheval Cellars has become our Saturday ritual. The sourdough alone is worth the drive — crusty, tangy, with a crumb that looks like it was designed by someone who actually understands bread. And the market section? We've discovered half our holiday gifts there.
